US Music Industry Revenue Breakdown, H1 2014 [CHART]

Music streaming service revenues grew by 28% year-over-year and comprised 27% of total industry revenues during the first half of 2014, up from 20% share in H1 2013. As such, streaming revenues are now almost on par with total sales in physical formats (primarily CDs and vinyl), which represented 28% share of total revenues and were down 14% year-over-year.
